Birkbeck, University of London

Course Introduction

The MSc Business, Political Economy and Society provides a fascinating insight into the impact of political, social, economic, technological and environmental issues on international business decisions and global strategies in an increasingly globalised world.

Taught by a cross-disciplinary community of scholars from Birkbeck's departments of Management, Economics, Law and Politics, you will learn how to critically evaluate and assess business decisions in different political economy and social contexts. You will also be trained in key methodological research techniques enabling you to successfully draft business and political economic analysis.

The programme is ideal if you wish to pursue a career in the increasingly popular field of political economy in both developed and developing countries. It also provides a strong foundation for PhD research in the area.
