Course Introduction

This course allows students to undertake advanced study in chemical engineering coupled with appropriate background study in basic sciences, mathematics and computing techniques. The Advanced Chemical Engineering (ACE) course allows students to undertake advanced study in chemical engineering coupled with appropriate background study in basic sciences, mathematics and computing techniques, while the specialised MSc streams (BIO, PSE or SPE) give you the opportunity to explore one area of chemical engineering in more depth. Assessments involves Coursework; Examinations and Practical.

Qualifications required:

  • Domestic entry requirements: Students require 2:1 Honours degree in a physical science, engineering, mathematical, or life/biomedical sciences based subject.
  • International entry requirements: Students must achieve the College requirement in the appropriate English language qualification: Standard IELTS 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in all elements); Higher 7.0 overall (minimum 6.5 in all elements).
  • TOEFL score: 92
