Course Introduction

This Work and Organisation MRes is aimed at those who want to hone in on a specialist area of business and management. You will be able to align research to your career trajectory by delving into key areas of organisational structure, from social and political marketing to leading organisational change.

Career paths

A combination of academic study and practical training will prepare you for leadership roles or further research. This MRes can lead to roles in human resource management, management consultancy or marketing to name a few.

This course is also ideal if you want to go on to further doctoral research training through the LISS DTP Programme.

Qualifications Required

  • Domestic entry requirements: Students need to have a 1st class degree at undergraduate level in any subject. A satisfactory research proposal that fits with research interests of staff in the School of Business and Management is also required.
  • International entry requirements: Students need to have a 1st class degree at undergraduate level in any subject. A satisfactory research proposal that fits with research interests of staff in the School of Business and Management is also required. Students need to have an IELTS 7.0 overall including 6.0 in Writing, and 5.5 in Reading, Listening and Speaking. TOEFL: 100 overall including 21 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking.
