Biology of Infectious Disease students graduate with a broad knowledge base, with a deep understanding of health and disease. This exciting course will allow you to develop technical and transferable skills in a range of specialist areas. You'll be equipped for careers in areas as diverse as the medical and allied research institutes, health agency laboratories, bio'analytical medical genetics, forensic units, the pharmaceutical industry and health and safety.

A typical week involves a minimum 12 hours contact time with academic staff in a variety of forms, including:

Practicals and projects are conducted in our state'or'the art Science Centre, said to be the largest teaching laboratory in Europe. It also has Wi'Fi and computer facilities.
