Our English and Film and TV course is taught by world-class researchers, giving students the opportunity to get involved with research centre led seminars and conferences. You will take part in a variety of cultural events such as book clubs, screenings, author events, literary debates and musical and theatrical performances throughout the year. We run masterclasses with filmmakers and screenwriters, enabling you to gain expert advice and guidance and our editing suites have up-to-date production software with accredited training facilities for Final Cut and Pro 10.

During the course you’ll have the opportunity to undertake an optional work experience module in the final year. If you select our joint English and Film and Television Studies course you’ll benefit from our extensive contacts in film and television production, distribution and exhibition in London, as well as in media public relations and marketing.
