**About this course**

From fake news to Trump’s tweets, media is in the spotlight. On this course, you’ll explore media in all its forms, from film and television to paid streaming services, from news to social media. You’ll look at how different media are produced and consumed and examine how they shape our relationships and ways of communicating.

You’ll examine how media usage has evolved from photography through video to Snapchat, and look at the portrayal of news across different channels.

Studying production practice, you’ll learn the methods to create digital media.

Through research-based projects, you’ll be able to tailor your studies to your own interests. You’ll present your work at our end of year media conference.
