Are you looking for an airline and airport management degree with strong industry links that is taught by experienced academics?

Get your studies off to a flying start with this course, located just 12Km from London Heathrow Airport, one of the busiest international airports in the world. With guest lectures by industry professionals and the opportunity for a work placement, this course will give you a taste of the diversity of careers in this field.

This airline and airport management course is designed to build the skills and experience you will need to work as a manager within the aviation industry. It is accredited by the Institute of Travel and Tourism, a professional membership body for those working in travel and tourism in the UK.

We have links with nearby Heathrow Airport Ltd and other aviation companies. This enables us to arrange teaching visits from leading industry figures to help you develop a strong understanding of the field of aviation. Our links with relevant organisations may also be useful if you decide to look for a work placement during your studies.

This is a vocational course and it will focus on your employability, while giving you a high-quality academic experience. Importantly, the management and professional skills you will learn can also be applied in a range of business contexts outside of the aviation industry.

In your final year (Level 6) you will complete a dissertation – an independent research project on a topic related to aviation. This will allow you to explore an area of the business that you are particularly interested in, while demonstrating your research, writing, presentation and self-management skills.
