This course is an degree is exciting multi-disciplinary study in engineering covering anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, implants and prosthetics, medical instrumentation and rehabilitation. You will have access to fully equipped state-of-the-art laboratories for medical device design and human performance measurement and will benefit from the facilities in our human-computer interaction research department where we are making developments in vital areas of healthcare, such as the rehabilitation of stroke victims and amputees.

You can choose to complete an optional placement between Year 2 and 3 with NHS or industrial partners, where you will gain vital professional experience and also receive a Diploma of Industrial Studies
