**About this course**
With an emphasis on research, this course builds on the academic content of the Chemistry BSc (Hons). Years 1 and 2 are shared with the BSc, and provide a base for more advanced learning. You’ll develop laboratory, practical and professional skills. Additional modules will expand your skills for interpreting the
results of modern spectroscopic investigations.
Years 3 and 4 offer in-depth study of both polymer and industrial chemistry and analytical chemistry.A research project will enhance your skills in experimental design, critical analysis, problem solving and laboratory work. You’ll develop your understanding of inorganic, physical, organic and medicinal chemistry.
