University of Greenwich

Course Introduction

This programme aims to prepare you for a career in business development and management by equipping you with a broad, integrated understanding of key aspects of business and the changing environment in which businesses operate.

It focuses on applied research and management models which can be used to improve business performance, and you will learn to analyse quantifiable information in order to make decisions.

As part of your studies you will also have the opportunity to work with business professionals and/or local communities on live projects. This will help you to gain valuable experience and learn to critique business theory in practice.

You will be encouraged to enter the university’s Enterprise Challenge which rewards student entrepreneurship and innovation. Previous winners have received a prize of £5,000 for their ideas.

We consult with employers, professional bodies and students to ensure that our programmes reflect the latest developments in industry and provide appropriate subject specialisms. Please check online for programme updates.
