The BBA Chartered Management is part of a new government initiative that enables you to gain a degree-level qualification and professional recognition to Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship Standard.
The programme is aimed at managers from all sectors and sizes of organisation, from those at the start of their career to those who already have practical experience but wish to develop their management skills further. Following successful completion of the modules, you will be eligible for an 'End Point Assessment' in order to gain professional recognition and Chartered Manager status (CMgr MCMI). You will also be required to develop a portfolio and consistently demonstrate how your learning can be applied in the workplace.
You must be in full-time employment already (30 hours a week minimum), as your fees will be covered partly by your employer and partly by a government fund that all employers will be able to access.
- You will gain Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship Standard and become a member of the Chartered Management Institute.
- Based in the School of Business, Economics and Informatics, the Department of Management is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in teaching, research and consultancy in the broad field of management. Our academic staff are active researchers as well as enthusiastic teachers, and regularly publish cutting-edge articles in the world's leading journals.
- We have particular research strengths in international business and strategy, the management of innovation and entrepreneurship, human resource management, corporate governance, sport management and marketing, as well as financial management and accounting.
