The Economics with History BSc will help you to understand the events of history fully. You’ll learn about the structures which affect real-life decisions and events around the world, as well as gaining a rigorous knowledge of the historical contexts leading to those events. You’ll develop the quantitative skills needed to interpret contemporary economics as practised, alongside the ability to analyse the theory behind both economic and historical study of the world.
The key aim of all Economics courses at the College is threefold. Firstly, they encourage you to think rigorously about economics theory. Secondly, they develop you quantitative skills in order to engage with the subject as it is commonly practised. Finally, they help you to understand economic conditions in different institutional, geographic and soci-economics settings.
