This programme aims to provide students with a high'quality academic training in development studies, examining the importance of contemporary theory in the social sciences for the policy and practice of development. the processes
involved in overcoming poverty and creating healthy,
wealthy and sustainable societies. Recent graduates have gone on to work
in government, international development agencies, NGOs,
development consultancies and think tanks, or to PhD study.
