**About this course**
If you aim to become a commercial airline pilot, this course is ideal. You’ll be introduced to the theory of flight and the aircraft systems that enable aircraft to fly. You’ll study the operational and commercial nature of the airline industry and gain the core communication skills required to become a pilot and a future leader.
For Year 2 of the course, you’ll be based at Bournemouth Commercial Flight Training (BCFT) in Dorset where you’ll study topics required for pilot training. The content is aligned to the knowledge required for a European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) ATPL (A) licence. Please note: the cost of Year 2 is approximately £70,000 in addition to University fees. BCFT provides accommodation, transport and equipment.
