Queen Mary University of London
Course Introduction
Do you want to study both computer science and electronic engineering, developing a broad skill-set across both disciplines? This unique programme includes the digital design elements of the electronic engineering programmes, but also emphasises computer systems and software. We focus on the increasingly important areas of embedded systems, network computing, internet protocols and applications. In the first year you’ll cover the foundations of each discipline, with modules in programming, circuit design, communications and signals. With a wide choice of modules in your second and final years, you’re free to direct your studies towards your aims and interests. In the final year, you’ll design and carry out an individual project based on your own interests and linked to current research areas within the schools.
