Why Conservatoire for Dance and Drama?
The Conservatoire for Dance and Drama has an established record of training its students to a professional standard. It also has an excellent success rate in the number of its students gaining employment.
The Conservatoire comprises eight schools including the Central School of Ballet, Circus Space, London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, London Contemporary Dance School, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, and Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
All of these eight schools are small, specialist institutions with international reputations for high quality training.
Every course is intensely practical. You will spend around 35 hours each week in technique classes, which will prepare you for performance.
International Students
The Conservatoire offers considerable support and advice to international students. Staff can help you find suitable accommodation or manage your finances. They can also provide learning support for anyone whose second language is English.
The schools have first-class facilities, including eight theatre spaces and award-winning premises.
You can benefit from the collaborative projects undertaken across the eight schools and the opportunity to work directly with leading professional artists during your training.
