King's College London is consistently ranked among the top 100 universities in the world in major league tables. It was ranked 68th in the world – and 19th in Europe – in the 2012 Academic Ranking of World Universities.
Based in the heart of London, the college's main campuses are situated along a stretch of the Thames that's dotted with famous landmarks, including Waterloo Bridge, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.
The university provides world-class teaching at its six Medical Research Council centres and nine schools.
On-campus computer rooms are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are more than 1,600 computer workstations and Wi-Fi covers most of the college.
International Students
King’s College London has a diverse community with students from nearly 140 countries. Almost one in five students at King's is an international student.
The International Student Support team hosts an annual free welcome programme for international students at the beginning of term.

The Students' Union (KCLSU) offers a huge programme of events at its various venues, which include bars, cafes and a nightclub. There are also facilities for hockey, rugby, football, cricket, netball and tennis, as well rifle ranges and a swimming pool.
