Trooping the Colour: The Queen's Birthday Parade

The Queen’s official birthday is an annual event which includes a number of celebrations, such as ‘Trooping the Colour'on Horse Guards Parade and the Royal Air Force fly-past. The custom of this event dates back to the time of Charles II in the 17th century. The Queen travels down The Mall from Buckingham Palace by carriage with a sovereign’s escort from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. The event starts at 10am and the RAF fly-past takes place at 1pm.
Open Garden Squares Weekend

Enjoy the British sunshine and discover hidden gems across London during the Open Garden Squares Weekend. More than 200 London gardens, including private gardens, roof gardens and community allotments, as well as gardens belonging to historic buildings, museums, churches and universities, will be open to the public for one weekend. Many public gardens also take part in this event. These usually provide guided walks, music, family entertainment, art activities and food and drink stalls.
Taste of London in Regent's Park

West End LIVE at Trafalgar Square

Every year, the cast of London’s best West End shows perform in front of thousands of spectators at West End LIVE at Trafalgar Square. The event includes classic West End musicals, such as The Lion King, Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked, as well new shows, including Kinky Boots, Motown the Musical and Bat Out of the Hell. Greenwich + Docklands International Festival

The annual Greenwich + Docklands International Festival includes open-air theatre, dance, art installations and a huge variety of music.
