Finding student accommodation in London
London is a large city and different areas are split according to their location on the compass (north, east, south and west).
London postcodes can help you identify which part of London a house is in. For example: N1 is the postcode for Islington in north London. WC1 is in the 'west central' area of London.
Generally, accommodation is cheaper the further away you live from central London. It can be difficult to find accommodation near some universities in central London unless you live in university accommodation.
Use London Student Housing's area guide and the Mayor of London's rent map to identify possible transport routes and costs when considering where to live.
