Cost of studying in London

It is always difficult to predict your costs. In addition to the cost of tuition fees in London, much will depend on your lifestyle in London and the area/type of accommodation you choose to live in.

Average student rents are approximately £150 per week but you can find cheaper. Use the Mayor of London's rent map to look at average house rent costs in the city.

The government estimates that in addition to your rent, you will need approximately £104 per week for living costs, but this will vary depending on how much you socialise etc.

In addition to your course fees, the UK Border Agency requires you to have at least £800 for each calendar month of your course. This will help you pay for accommodation, food and other expenses during your studies.
