Working in the UK while studying
UK and EU students

There are no restrictions for UK and EU students wishing to work while studying.
Non-EU international students
If you study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate degree course, you are allowed to work part-time during term for up to 20 hours a week.
If you study a short course (less than 6 months) or a course below degree level, you can work for up to 10 hours a week.
To check if you have permission to work in the UK, check your passport sticker or identity card. If it states "No work" you are not permitted to work in the UK.
