Student accommodation in London
London is a very big city and offers students an incredible choice of places to live.
Many universities offer students a place in university accommodation (halls of residence). This is the simplest way to secure accommodation for your first year.
Private accommodation rent prices vary depending on your chosen location and the quality of your housing but it is usually more expensive to live in central London (zones 1 and 2 on the tube map).
You can find a private accommodation guide at London Student Housing, which gives you advice on signing housing contracts and where to begin your search. The website also provides a service to help you find a flatmate. You can also look for accommodation in independent advertising listings such as Gum Tree.
