What is the value of the scholarship?
Scholarships are to the value of one year’s tuition (currently £19,320).

Who can apply?
All international students applying for the Veterinary Medicine (BVetMed) programme are eligible to be considered for the scholarships.

There are three RVC International Scholarships available each year.

How do I apply?
No additional application is required for the scholarships; all international applicants to the BVetMed are automatically considered. Scholarships are awarded to the highest performing students during the application process (taking into account VMCAS or UCAS application, GRE scores (if applicable) and scores at interview).

Students must apply to the BVetMed programme to be considered for the scholarships. Details of the RVC’s entry requirements for the BVetMed can be found at www.rvc.ac.uk/undergraduate

When can I apply?
The deadline for applications to the BVetMed course is the 1 October (North American graduates applying via VMCAS) or the 15 October (those applying via UCAS). Students must apply to the BVetMed course before they can be considered for any scholarship award.

Scholarship decisions are made, and students informed of the outcome, in March/April of each year.

What is the value of the scholarship?

Scholarships are given up to the value of £14,902.

Who can apply?

All postgraduate students who wish to study a specific subject at the Royal Veterinary College (RVC).

Subjects that you can study to get a scholarship are advertised on the RVC website around December/January each year.

How do I apply?

You can download an application form online (link below). A separate application form must be completed for each scholarship you apply for.

You also need to submit two references, a letter of support, a copy of your degree certificate, a certified transcript and any necessary translations. If English is not your first language, you should also send transcripts of your IELTS or TOEFL exams.

When can I apply?

There are a variety of deadlines beginning in January each year. Refer to the College website for more information.
