Wellcome Trust MSc Studentship
What is the value of the scholarship?
The studentship will provide full tuition fees (at Home/EU level) and a maintenance grant towards living costs. Non-EU applicants will need to pay the difference between Home/EU and Overseas MSc fees.
Who can apply?
You must be accepted for one of the following Master’s at LSHTM:
- MSc Public Health
- MSc Public Health in Developing Countries
- MSc Public Health Nutrition
- MSc Health Policy, Planning & Financing
You must also agree to study History & Health module in Term 3 and write a dissertation on an historical subject for your dissertation.
Tell me more
To be successful, you will be at an advantage if you can demonstrate training or an interest in history. Social science experience is also an advantage.
How do I apply?
You need to submit:
- Your offer of admission to LSHTM
- Completed scholarship application (available online using link below)
- A one page outline of your proposed Master’s dissertation
When can I apply?
The deadline for applications is the middle of May each year.
