Brunel University London

Course Introduction

This course focuses on using design to address key issues in branding. For example, it examines how design thinking can develop a new brand, or improve or expand an existing brand and enhance customer engagement.

We have close connections with leading agencies in London. For example, Saffron has been collaborating with MA in Design and Branding Strategy to promote the most promising young branding professionals from the course through the ‘Saffron'Brunel Prize’.

The course is delivered through lectures, workshops, self'study and individual and group project work.

You’ll be assessed on your written assignments, presentations and research project.

Graduates of our Design and Branding Strategy MA are working for companies like Design Bridge, Saffron, Imagination, Interbrand and Ogilvy. They have taken on roles such as brand strategist, brand consultant, brand manager and creative director.
