This programme offers practitioners the opportunity to engage in reflection on and enquiry into their practice, developing their theoretical understanding and skills of leadership whilst specialising in the teaching and learning and management of curriculum of religious education. The course combines the study of professional learning in religious education with the opportunity to lead a research enquiry into an aspect of leading and managing learning in religious education, enabling practitioners to develop innovative practice within a supportive learning community.
Areas of study include: professional learning (specialism in religious education); research methods for project enquiry; interim evaluation of research project; change agency and strategy (from research to policy); academic paper and conference.
