This course compares literatures from across the world, written in many different languages from antiquity to the contemporary. We offer a unique a range of courses from classical Greek and Latin right up to twenty'first century European, Asian, Middle'Eastern, African, American and Pacific literature. You will also have the opportunity to develop your language skills and take modules from across the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

- An Honours degree (2.1 or above) in a modern language, classics, English or another subject involving the study of literature; good reading knowledge of a relevant European language other than English is essential (not required for literature across cultures pathway); US applicants should have GPA 3.3 or above.
