Course Introduction

As well as equipping you with knowledge and skills required in the advertising industry, this programme gives you the opportunity to study either French, Italian, Mandarin or Spanish in order to further your international career opportunities.

Your language element will begin with a course suited to your level of prior knowledge, and you will build on that knowledge through the duration of your degree.

You will learn to communicate in a variety of everyday and workplace contexts, both verbally and in writing, and to recognise, prepare and understand business correspondence in your chosen language. You will gain the ability to summarise material presented in the foreign language in English, and vice versa.

You will have the opportunity to gain exemptions from Chartered Institute of Marketing, Market Research Society and Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing examinations, helping you obtain professional recognition early in your career.

What careers could I pursue?

This programme will prepare you for a variety of international management positions within advertising and public relations agencies and a career in sales promotion, marketing, media, digital communications and other advertising fields.
