Course Introduction

Psychology provides insights that help us to understand the behaviour of people in business and organisational contexts. This course uses this knowledge of the human mind and our behaviour as a basis to investigate fundamental organisational functions, such as human resource management, finance, marketing, strategy, human resources and technology. You will learn how psychological theories and research can be applied successfully to: recruit, select and assess employees; change organisations; train and motivate people; and develop individuals’ careers.
