This course covers contemporary topics such as the importance of sustainable design, construction, management and operation. You will learn to appreciate the inter'relationships and multidisciplinary nature of the built environment, and gain an understanding of diverse areas from project management principles to law and legislation.
The BSc (Hons) Building Surveying course aims to produce building surveyors with all'round abilities combining technical skills and core competencies needed to succeed in the fast changing built environment sector. The course covers core technical knowledge areas vital to the building surveying practice such as:
• building pathology
• construction technology
• conversion and adaptation
