Course Introduction

This pathway provides students with a strong grounding in the nutritional, health and wellbeing aspects of food production in the baking sector.

This course is ideal for those interested in studying baking science and technology who also wish to incorporate nutrition into their learning. These complementary disciplines will be explored through lectures, laboratory sessions and student centered learning. Students will examine Baking Science and Technology with an emphasis on the nutritional / health and wellbeing aspects impacting upon the baking sector.

Research based teaching will inform the learning experience throughout. LSBU has state of the art Baking Labs
