University of Greenwich

Course Introduction

If you have the ability but not the qualifications required to apply for our three'year BA Hons Business Economics programme, this four'year programme will provide you with another route.

It begins with a foundation year that will give you a solid grounding from which to progress to degree'level study. You will gain a thorough introduction to business and an understanding of ethics, enterprise and economics. You will also strengthen your numeracy ability and learn essential computing, communication and academic writing skills, and how to manage your studies independently.

After your first year, you will study the same courses as those on our three'year BA Hons Business Economics programme.

Our extended degrees are currently being restructured to ensure they meet current business demands.

What careers could I pursue?

Graduates from this programme have the same career opportunities as those graduating from our three'year programme. They may go on to become economists or financial analysts, take up posts in business services or business analysis units, or pursue management careers in international business.
