Offering exciting opportunities to students who are interested in running a business or creating an entrepreneurial organisation, this innovative course – based on a ‘learning by doing’ approach – combines the worlds of business entrepreneurship and higher education. You will create a business by setting up a team'company with like'minded students, doing real business with real customers, and with a specially trained coach who will be at hand to support, motivate and empower you and your team.
First'year modules cover entrepreneurship in action, global business, analysing and managing information, accounting and finance, marketing, and people and organisations. Core modules in the second year focus on entrepreneurial business management, team creativity and innovation, and sustainable business practices; you can then choose up to two options from subjects including business ethics, project management, web'based business, a Business School option or a Westminster elective module from across the University. Final'year core modules cover contemporary issues in entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial leadership, entrepreneurship and enterprise, and strategic entrepreneurship. You can then choose up to two options from subjects including digital analytics, social media, project and programme management, interactive and digital marketing, consumer protection, and a Business School option or Westminster elective.
