University of Greenwich

Course Introduction

This programme will provide you with an understanding of logistics and transport management and how organisations incorporate and manage these functions. It will equip you with the ability to assess the contribution of logistics and transport to competitiveness, customer service and the creation of value.

In your first year, you will study the same courses on business planning and processes, economics and organisation behaviour as students on our BA Hons Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation, BA Hons Business Purchasing and Supply Chain Management and BSc Hons Business degrees. This means you will have the option to switch programmes at the end of your first year if one of these more closely matches your developing skills and interests.

We anticipate that this programme will receive accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, the leading professional body in the field.

What careers could I pursue?

Career opportunities in transport and logistics roles include logistics operations manager, supply chain manager, procurement officer, transport manager, operations director, project manager and distribution manager.
