Course Introduction

This specialist business programme will enable you to develop your entrepreneurial skills and will prepare you to start up and grow your own micro'enterprise or small or medium'sized business.

In your first year, you will study courses on business processes, economics for business, organisation behaviour and business planning and development.

You will be encouraged to enter our business'planning competition which rewards student entrepreneurship and innovation with prizes of investment capital. One of our previous students won a top prize of £5,000. You will be linked with a mentor through our employer networks to support you in developing your business plan.

Graduates with credible business ideas are supported to develop their business under academic supervision. International students who wish to develop their business in the UK after graduation may be able to apply for a Tier 1 (Graduate Entrepreneur) visa, subject to eligibility and availability.
