University of Greenwich

Course Introduction

If you have the ability but not the qualifications required to apply for our three'year BA Hons Business Studies programme, this four'year programme will provide you with an alternative route.

It begins with a foundation year that will give you a solid grounding from which to progress to degree'level study. You will gain a thorough introduction to business and an understanding of ethics, enterprise and leadership. You will also learn essential computing, communication and academic writing skills, and how to manage your studies independently.

After your first year, you will study the same courses as those on our three'year BA Business Studies programme.

Our extended degrees are currently being restructured to ensure they meet current business demands. Please check online for revised course content.

What careers could I pursue?

Graduates from this programme have the same career opportunities as those applying to and graduating from our three'year programme. This includes opportunities in management, leadership, strategy, project management, human resource management, operations and logistics, advertising and marketing, and finance.
