Course Introduction

This programme allows you to expand the scope and depth of your writing across a variety of formats while also incorporating courses from a variety of other subject pathways.

The programme equips you with the skills to work in a variety of textual forms, both producing and analysing text. It develops the essential skills of communication, independent research, self'discipline and teamwork valued by employers in a wide range of areas, and allows you to develop your authorial voice and pursue your interest in writing.

The aims of the programme are:

* To develop your fundamental writing skills in a range of disciplines, while allowing specialisation through a choice of options;

* To present a wide range of texts from many periods and cultures, thereby encouraging you to engage with diversity;
