University of West London

Course Introduction

This course seeks to bring together the theories, concepts and practices to develop critical understandings of a managerial career within either the tourism or aviation industry.

During the course, you will adopt an interdisciplinary approach to the study of tourism and aviation management by drawing upon international case study material to understand the global operations of both the tourism and aviation sectors.

The course aims to exploit synergies between the tourism and aviation industries to critically inspect management'related issues, which is a key strength of the course structure.

The internship course aims to provide a 28 week period of paid work experience incorporated into the period of study. This makes it ideal for students seeking to add a practical dimension to their studies and understand the demands of workplace supervision and management.
