Course Introduction

**Computing with optional specialisms in Information Systems, Network Systems, or Qualified Teacher Status**

This programme provides you with detailed insight into how computer systems are designed and developed. The programme is run in conjunction with BSc Hons Computer Science, so some modules are common to both. In addition, the broad'based approach allows a flexible learning experience as you can select individual courses in various related areas, such as digital media, information systems and business'oriented computing.

This programme aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The courses have been designed in conjunction with industry and are continually monitored to make sure that they match the needs of this exciting but fast changing business; you will have the opportunity to use many different types of hardware and software during your studies.

Students are required to choose 1 course from this list of options:

**Year 2**
