On this course you’ll learn to design, construct and test standard digital and analogue circuits, moving on to multistage and programmable circuits. You’ll also work on your own independent project, gaining experience of industry'standard equipment and simulation packages in the process.

Year 2: Advanced engineering mathematics and modelling, Circuits, signals and systems, Instrumentation and control using Labview, Principles of control, Managing the engineering process,Electrical machines and power electronics, Analogue, digital and mixed signal circuit design and Electrical services and lighting for buildings. Year 3: Optional placement year. Year 4: Innovation and enterprise, Control engineering, Project, Advanced analogue and digital techniques, Radio frequency (RF) systems, Power systems, energy converters and drives and Systems for environmental services and lighting.
