Course Introduction

The course gives a broad training in social science research methods, with an emphasis on the quantitative methods most relevant in an academic or policy context. Students use economic concepts and quantitative research methods to enhance the analysis of educational policy issues, and examine the relationships between education and human development, and investigate and apply economic concepts, methods and ideas to the field of education.

Course Additional Entry

A good first degree in economics or a related social science; plus knowledge of basic statistics and a background in education policy and administration.
