The course has been designed to produce "hands on" professionals with a broad range of career possibilities in the multimedia industry, including working as multimedia designers/producers, as part of a development team, freelancing or running their own business. The course has directly benefited from excellent links within the multimedia industry, from companies (including Adobe and Apple) visiting the University to give presentations to companies participating in module assessments and looking to recruit students upon graduation. Graduates will typically be employed in multimedia production houses, web agencies, corporate environments, in educational institutions, the media and film industry and in entertainment.
Course Additional Entry
The course is open to graduates with computing or non'computing backgrounds, with a 1st or 2nd Class Honours degree from a UK university, or an equivalent qualification. A flexible attitude will be taken to those employed in an industrial or academic context that is intimately related to interactive multimedia. You are required to show competence in both written and spoken English.
