Based within our Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, our research programme in Criminology focuses on the following research themes: Gender; sexual orientation; cross'issues; age; disability; faith; and race. The research centre is committed to work with voluntary and statutory sector partners in order to commission and publish research and policy papers/briefings aimed at ensuring equal criminal justice outcomes for all members of a diverse community.
Course Additional Entry
A minimum classification of 2.1 in a first degree (or equivalent); and, preferably, a Masters degree (or Masters degree pending); and (if English is not your first language). Appropriate English Language qualifications (you will normally be required to achieve minimum IELTS scores of 6.5 or equivalent). You will also need to have the commitment and motivation to undertake a sustained programme of independent and self'directed study and training as a researcher.
