This course aims to bridge the gap between professional credentials and academic qualifications by combining academic rigour with professional training. The course is suitable for: IT practitioners and experienced analysts/designers or database administrators, who want to enhance their professional abilities, further develop their careers and/or deepen their knowledge/understanding of state'of'the'art and emerging information technologies and/or specialise in a role related to Oracle technologies; and graduates who wish to deepen their understanding in the field of Database Systems and/or who want to take a Masters course with strong vocational flavour to advance their database systems career.
Course Additional Entry
An Honours degree (at least 2.2) in a computing related discipline from a UK university or an overseas equivalent. Applicants whose first degree does not have a strong computing content will only be considered if they can demonstrate sufficient knowledge of computing. Applicants without the above academic entry requirements will also be considered according to their work experience and any other qualifications. Each application is considered on its individual merits, and admission is based on the likelihood of benefiting from the course and completing it satisfactorily.
