Course Introduction

This programme aims to prepare students with science backgrounds to develop unique expertise in the fundamentals of energy and the environment, their applications for the benefit of humankind, and the ability to stay abreast of the field of sustainable energy engineering. The programme structure is designed to appeal to students with sciences or mathematics backgrounds, and is modular in format. The content of the programme includes a compulsory Engineering Methods module in the first semester, which aims to introduce and develop engineering techniques for students with varied backgrounds. Other than these modules students will be taking specialist energy engineering modules that are being developed for the MSc. This will bolster our current offering, but will also allow these students to become specialists in their field.
