Course Introduction

Issues are addressed that concern the health and wellbeing status and behaviour of individuals, groups and communities. The work is informed by a desire to build an evidence base of what works and for whom. Then, the translation of research findings inform education and practice development and service effectiveness.

Course Additional Entry

Applicants are expected to have a good Honours degree. If applicants have the equivalent of a lower 2nd or 3rd Class Honours they would also need a Postgraduate qualification at Master's level. Applicants will also be required to show proof of all of their qualifications. If English is not an applicant's 1st language they will be expected to prove their competency in English, showing an IELTS score of at least 7.0 at postgraduate level.
