Course Introduction

This course is aimed at students from a wide range of backgrounds, from basic scientists to all levels of healthcare professionals, and will provide a flexible, multi'disciplinary and multi'professional perspective in genomics, applied to clinical practice and medical research.

Course Additional Entry

2.1 Honours degree in a relevant medical, biomedical or healthcare subject. This course is aimed at all healthcare professionals who will increasingly need to be able to interpret and understand genomic data as part of their role, as well as at biomedical scientists. For those who do not hold a 1st degree at the required level, a special case may be made if applicants have demonstrated aptitude for the course through at least 3 years of high quality work experience in a relevant field, and successful completion of a 'Special Qualifying Exam'.
