This research has a strong focus on infrastructure and build concerns of today's transport engineering. It maintains strong focus around 4 central themes: experimental analysis of factors which affect infrastructure design; assessment and modelling of perceptions of risk and effort as they influence mode and route choice; development and implementation of prospective study methodologies for assessment of transport interventions; longitudinal analysis of transport data sets for monitoring purposes.
Course Additional Entry
Applicants are expected to have a good Honours degree. If applicants have the equivalent of a lower 2nd or 3rd Class Honours they would also need a Postgraduate qualification at Master's level. Applicants will also be required to show proof of all of their qualifications. If English is not an applicant's 1st language they will be expected to prove their competency in English, showing an IELTS score of at least 7.0 at postgraduate level.
