Course Introduction

Security management is a rapidly growing profession. Most large companies are having to consider the regulatory and actual risks to their security. This course provides practitioners with practical and theoretical skills to counter and overcome these challenges. This unique course combines the insights of intelligence professionals, the police service and the intellectual rigour of security studies to offer multidisciplinary course available through flexible distance learningThe course recruits primarily from those already working in the security or intelligence communities, or from those in the policing arena with an interest in these activities. It is taught by leading experts in each of the relevant fields, and provides an excellent foundation for employment or career progression in these areas.

Course Modules

Modules include, in the order which they are taken: Security studies, security management; international financial crime and security; terrorism and counter'terrorism; intelligence analysis and contemporary issues in crime safety and security; dissertation.
