Course Introduction

Research interests include: greening of alkene/terpene epoxidations; graphene from supercritical fluid technologies; biodiesel and biofuels production from used cooking oil (UCO); CO2 conversion to value added chemicals and fuels; continuous synthesis of products using multi'functional reactors such as continuous chromatographic reactor, reactive distillation column (RDC), FlowSyn continuous flow reactor and continuous hydrothermal flow synthesis (CHFS).

Course Additional Entry

Applicants are expected to have a good Honours degree. If applicants have the equivalent of a lower 2nd or 3rd Class Honours they would also need a Postgraduate qualification at Master's level. Applicants will also be required to show proof of all of their qualifications. If English is not an applicant's 1st language they will be expected to prove their competency in English, showing an IELTS score of at least 7.0 at postgraduate level.
